{"id":149,"date":"2017-11-17T12:36:01","date_gmt":"2017-11-17T12:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jaguarxfs.co.uk\/?p=149"},"modified":"2018-08-13T18:26:54","modified_gmt":"2018-08-13T18:26:54","slug":"re-tv-tuner-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.jaguarxfs.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/11\/17\/re-tv-tuner-5\/","title":{"rendered":"RE: TV Tuner (5)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A trip to Stratstone for a quick look&#8230; I didn&#8217;t make an appointment as that would take too long, but they were good enough to lend me a technician to take a look.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly an email to the supplying dealer on my return&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>I have had my local dealer &#8211; Stratstone in Hanley take a look this morning.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>We pulled up the build spec from Jag based on its VIN and of course, it does<\/em><br \/>\n<em>show as present on there.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>However, the technician (who had just been on the Infotainment training<\/em><br \/>\n<em>three days ago) agreed that the TV tuner didn&#8217;t seem to appear where it<\/em><br \/>\n<em>should.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I asked them if they would be disadvantaged if I asked them to fix it &#8211; and<\/em><br \/>\n<em>they seemed quite happy to do so (it will be a claim against the Jag<\/em><br \/>\n<em>warranty anyway).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I am told that a software update *may* fix it &#8211; but that would be the first<\/em><br \/>\n<em>stage anyway. I am told it takes about three hours. If that doesn&#8217;t fix it,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>they have to refer it to Jaguar.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If that is okay by you, I will let Stratstone do it &#8211; they can&#8217;t fit it in<\/em><br \/>\n<em>until a week on Tuesday though.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Let me know if you think that is a good plan.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A trip to Stratstone for a quick look&#8230; I didn&#8217;t make an appointment as that would take too long, but they were good enough to lend me a technician to take a look.
