I was still waiting for an update to the TV issue. On the 15th I recieved the following clearly stating that the ‘… this feature is available’.

 

 

Apologies for the delay getting back to you as I have been searching for a
car on site that has the TV capability but at this moment in time we don’t
have a car for me to submit a video demonstration on.

However I can confirm from the specification of your car that this feature
is available and should be located under the media setting.

If you click on Media – Source- TV should be available for selection on the
car.

If you are not able to find this function, this is very strange as the car
does have this feature and would recommend having the car looked at to
confirm that the feature is enabled.

Apologies for any confusion, let me know if there is any questions further.

Just after delivery, I decided to sit in the vehicle and familiarise myself with things, along with the manual. Most was self-evident, except that I couldn’t find the TV tuner.

Later that day (around 18:00) H called to see how I was getting on. The answer was fine except I can’t find the TV tuner. I was told he would send me a video of how to use it.

I did explain, I thought it was either broken, or simply missing.

Glad you are all sorted with the Tax.

Unfortunately one of my colleagues has called in sick leaving only me in the office today. Not a worry your end though it just means my colleague is going to be bringing the car to you this morning.

He has all the paperwork I need signing with him and has all the information for yourself. The bonnet issue has been sorted and the car looks absolutely stunning.

His name is N and will be with you just after 11:00am (traffic depending).

If you can just make sure you have both sets of keys for your part exchange and the V5 log book for your car.

I am sorry once again that I won’t be able to handover the car personally but I am sure it will not spoil the experience of your new car.

Taxed last night so now should be good to go.

i *should* be back in by 11 this morning – if for any chance I get delayed I will just be a few minutes behind and on my way.

Easy to get to… just about half a mile …. <delivery address redacted> on the right as you are heading towards town.

All sorted for tomorrow morning handover I aim to be with you late morning to avoid the traffic our end.

The insurance and funds are all with us, that means the only thing left for us to sort is taxing the vehicle tomorrow.

Please find attached a copy of the Green Slip and the guide to tax the vehicle.

Apart from that the car is looking good for tomorrow and I will look forward to seeing you then.
