Though the air conditioning is running, it just isn’t bringing the cabin temperature down.
After a half hour drive, with an outside temperature of 28 degrees, a target temperature of 19.5 degrees and all windows and sunroof shut – we still have a cabin temperture of 25.0 degrees. The measurement point is in the free air near the console (temperature probe below has only a 6″ cable on the sensor).
After another half hour (the return journey), the cabin temperature is slightly up at 25.8 degrees.
To be fair, the vent temperature is low, around 14 degrees, but there isn’t sufficient air flow to cool the cabin.
